While it's better if you can buy fresh salmon, you have other
options like canned salmon which is also a great alternative.
But since canned foods usually contain sodium including canned
salmon, they should be eaten in moderation.
A great salmon
dish which you can easily prepare is the canned salmon salad recipe
which is a delish. It's very savory and is usually eaten with
bread. And it's highly nutritional.
For 1-2 people,
you'll need the following ingredients:
1 small canned
salmon 213 grams
2 average tomatoes
1 average onion
1 small lemon
2 small green chillies or more if you like hot dishes
Several lettuce leaves
Open the canned
salmon and put it aside in a big bowl.
Dice the two
Cut the onion
is small slices.
Chop the coriander
in small pieces.
Chop the chillies
in small pieces.
Mix the tomatoes,
the onion, the coriander, the chillies plus the lettuce leaves
with the salmon.
Add 3 normal
spoons of olive oil in the mixture.
Add a few
pinches of salt and pepper according to taste.
Cut the lemon
in half and squeeze the lemon juice in the salmon salad.
salad recipe is done and is ready for serving.
Wash the vegetables with tap water well before use like tomato,
coriander, chilli and lettuce.
