Canned Salmon Salad Recipe

Salmon is a top body building food because of its high protein quality and value and also because of its healthy fats content. Salmon contains omega 3 fish oil which is healthy for the heart and mind as well. These are also known as the EFA's or essential fatty acids. With salmon, you can prepare several easy and tasty dishes. While it's better if you can buy fresh salmon, you have other options like canned salmon which is also a great alternative. But since canned foods usually contain sodium including canned salmon, they should be eaten in moderation.

A great salmon dish which you can easily prepare is the canned salmon salad recipe which is a delish. It's very savory and is usually eaten with bread. And it's highly nutritional.

For 1-2 people, you'll need the following ingredients:

1 small canned salmon 213 grams
2 average tomatoes
1 average onion
1 small lemon
2 small green chillies or more if you like hot dishes
Several lettuce leaves
Coriander
Olive oil
Salt
Pepper

1st step

Open the canned salmon and put it aside in a big bowl.

2nd step

Dice the two tomatoes.

3rd step

Cut the onion is small slices.

4th step

Chop the coriander in small pieces.

5th step

Chop the chillies in small pieces.

6th step

Mix the tomatoes, the onion, the coriander, the chillies plus the lettuce leaves with the salmon.

7th step

Add 3 normal spoons of olive oil in the mixture.

8th step

Add a few pinches of salt and pepper according to taste.

9th step

Mix thoroughly.

10th step

Cut the lemon in half and squeeze the lemon juice in the salmon salad.

Canned salmon salad recipe is done and is ready for serving.

Tip: Wash the vegetables with tap water well before use like tomato, coriander, chilli and lettuce.

Here you go with the canned salmon salad recipe. It's easy and fast to prepare and it's appetizing and good-tasting. If you need to prepare for more than 2 people, increase the ingredients proportionately.
